He studied classical singing at the Katarina Gurska Conservatoire in Madrid, where he studied under the direction of Manuel Burgueras, former repetiteur to Montserrat Caballé in the 1990s. His current teacher in London is Bertie Rice.

He regularly sells out Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly and is a resident singer at The Ritz, The Savoy, The Maine and The Peninsula. He completed a master’s degree in jazz singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, with distinction. As the lead male singer with National Youth Jazz Orchestra for 10 years, he has performed all over the UK, including Ronnie Scott’s. Freddie has recorded some original music which he is planning to release in the not so distant future!

As an acapella singer, he has added his baritone and beatboxing talents to All the King’s Men, who were nominated for 4 CARAs and he has now joined NoVI, whose success as European ICCA champions took them to New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2017. He has recently added vocal bass to his acapella repertoire, singing with the Guildhall Conchords who recently became 2020 National Champions.

As an ADR artist, he’s recorded for Spectre, Chernobyl, Maradona, The Crown, White Lines and Johnny English 3, acted in The Alltogether with Martin Freeman, and played Danny in Grease and Sky in Guys and Dolls. He’s also a leading animation voice in Azur and Asmar and Planet 51.

A talented multi-linguist, Freddie is equally happy performing in Spanish, Portuguese (both the European and Brazilian variety), German, French and Italian. He spends his spare time perfecting various vocal impressions and accents including Boris Johnson and Andy Murray and is an avid footie fan.
